Two of our Cross Country runners participated in the Frog Run 2.0 5K in Rayne today. Sam W. placed 2nd Overall. Ashton M. and XC sponsor Ms. Boutin also placed 1st in their respective age divisions. Way to represent RHS! Ms. B’s son also ran the course and finished 2nd in his age division. The team will have their first official meet of the season next Saturday at Acadiana Park in Lafayette. Yet another reason why we love our school: We're always looking for ways to provide new opportunities and experiences for our students! After 15 years, Rayne High has revived our Cross Country Team. Yesterday, Ashton M. competed in the QSA Opener in Erath for opening day of the season and finished in the middle of the pack. For beginning training last week and competing with runners who have been working all summer, we are so proud of him and can't wait to see what else he accomplishes this season, as well as the rest of our Cross Country Pack!
