💜🎓 ATTENTION SENIORS: 🎓💜 -Students should report directly to the SOUTH GYM at 8:30 am on Thursday May 15 for practice. *This was changed from the N. Gym. -Seniors MUST be in full dress code compliance OR may wear jeans and spirit shirt ONLY IF they bring a used school uniform to donate. All students must wear appropriate shoes (no crocs, slippers, slides, etc.). Students that are not in compliance will NOT be allowed to participate in practice on Thursday and therefore will not be allow to walk in the graduation ceremony on Friday. Students who do not attend practice Thursday will not be allowed to walk in the graduation ceremony on Friday. GRADUATION CEREMONY INFORMATION: -The Graduation Ceremony is scheduled to take place Friday, May 16 at 7 pm outside at the Stadium. Our Clear Bag Policy will be enforced. -Each graduate will receive 12 tickets at the mandatory graduation practice on Thursday, May 15. -Due to fire marshall codes, all guests regardless of age will count as one entry. Guests with tickets may enter at the South Gate. Guests without tickets may enter at the North Gate and proceed to the visitor’s side bleachers. There will be a reserved section for Honors Program graduates. Guests must have a gold reserved ticket to sit in the reserved section. -Gates will open for Guests at 6:20 pm. -The following items are NOT allowed in the bleachers: -Balloons -Posters/Big Heads -Air Horns/Noise Makers If guests bring these items, those items will have to remain near the gate and will not be allow up in the stands. 🎓We look forward to celebrating the Class of 2025!🎓

Congratulations to Mrs. Theresa Simoneaux, our 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Simoneaux is known for her dedication to the students and faculty of Rayne High School. Her ongoing efforts to improve the quality of education and leadership opportunities for our students is appreciated!

Congratulations to our 2024-2025 Support Person of the Year, Ms. Priscilla Doucet! Ms. Priscilla is our cafeteria manager and shows her continued support to our school by making sure our students have a well balanced breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack each day. Thank you, Ms. Priscilla, for all you do for Rayne High School!

Each year our teachers nominate one student from each grade level who has overcome adversity and demonstrated a strong work ethic to improve throughout the school year. The Rayne Rotary Club recognizes these students for their accomplishments along with a cash prize. This year's recipients are Jamari W., Zoe S., Caden B., and Rondell J.

Amazing things are happening at Rayne High School - in large part because of our dedicated faculty! Our faculty currently contains the reigning Acadia Parish and Louisiana State High School Teacher of the Year, the current Acadia Parish Principal of the Year, the current Acadia Parish Counselor of the Year and the Acadia Parish Student of the Year for the past 2 years! Mrs. Monique Romero and her art students also revived the Art Show this year with great success! Our students were able to display so many great pieces showing the diversity of their interests and talents through various art techniques. Our students, parents and community members were also able to tour the Art Show to witness our students' amazing talent. Great Job to Mrs. Monique Romero and all of her Art students! 🎨💜

This morning, our students, parents, and members of our community were able to tour our 2025 Senior Fair. Our students did an amazing job on their projects related to their career and community service interests . We are so proud of our Seniors and our Senior English Teachers, Ms. Elise Boutin and Mrs. Whitley Breaux for their hard work this year!

This week representatives from LSUE came to congratulate our students for their hard work at the District Literary Rally. Those who placed were rewarded with certificates and t-shirts. Congratulations to Layton Price, Anna Boitnott, Brycen Comeaux, Lily Mire, Dominic Colonna, Izzabelle Chou, and Ryan Price.💜💛

We are getting ready for our end of the year celebrations! On Thursday, May 8th, the Seniors' Last Day, we will have Field Day! Students with NO referrals will receive a FREE ticket. All other students are able to purchase a ticket for $3.00.
