The library was buzzing with excitement today as students took on our Harvest Catapult STEM Challenge! 🎃🛠️

Using popsicle sticks, rubber bands, and spoons, students engineered their own mini catapults and tested their designs by launching different projectiles toward a set of festive targets. Those who landed a shot won a candy prize! 🍬🎯

It was a fun, hands-on day of problem-solving, creativity, and friendly competition in the library. We love seeing our Wolves engaged and having a great time while learning!

Reminders:
-As cool weather approaches, please remember that blankets, camouflage of any kind, and all outer garments with a hood are not permitted on campus. RHS Administration will communicate via remind, JCampus and social media when the extreme weather dress code will be allowed.
-Grades for VRT Courses will not update for the 2nd 9-weeks until Report Cards go out. For a real-time updated grade, parents can have their student log in to edgenuity.com directly from home to see student progress and a current grade for the course.

Attendance Matters! Let`s work together to ensure that students are receiving a quality education by avoiding unnecessary absences, arriving to school on time, and avoiding early check-outs. When absent for a valid reason, please make sure proper excuses are turned in to the front office.

Before the end of volleyball season, our senior girls shared a special moment by gifting a “You Made an Impact” shirt to a teacher who has truly made a difference to them. 💜🏐💛

It’s always such an honor to see our students taking the time to show appreciation for the amazing staff members who support and inspire them every day.

Thank you, girls, for this thoughtful gesture and for reminding us all of the lasting impact educators make.

🟡Visitor parking is in the lot across from the fieldhouse and loops around to the front of the main office.

🟡Fans coming from Highway 436 should enter through the main gate and proceed to the fieldhouse lot or front parking area.

🟡Cadets will be available along Dr. James Stafford Road to assist with directions.

On Friday, November 7th, Rayne High School proudly hosted our annual Veterans Reception to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. From morning coffee and student presentations to a delicious gumbo lunch, it was a special day filled with gratitude, stories, and respect.

Today, on Veterans Day, we pause once more to say thank you to every Veteran for your courage, sacrifice, and service. We are forever grateful. 💜💛🐺

Recently Mrs. Ancelet and Mrs. Cramer took a group of students to the Health Museum in Houston! They were able to tour the famous Body Worlds exhibit, view a sheep brain dissection and visit the rest of the museum which had a life sized colon and heart, amongst other displays of human anatomy. What an incredible experience in science! 🥼🧠🫁🫀🧬🔬🧫

🎃Check out the fun that these students had yesterday! The RHS Science Club had a great time exploding pumpkins as part of their November meeting. Students learned how mix the right chemicals to get the pumpkins to explode.
