The forecast for Friday, September 5th calls for a 100% chance of a Rayne High Victory!
No need for rain gear—your storm protection is PURPLE and GOLD! šŸ’œšŸ’› Go all out in your school colors and flood the stands with Wolf pride as we take on the gators. We want to SEE and HEAR you at the game this week!

Don’t forget—spirit count will be taken during 1st hour, and every outfit counts toward class spirit points!

This week should be easy so pack your purple, grab your gold, and get ready to make it rain on the Gators! šŸŒ©ļøšŸˆ

Just remember, everything should be school appropriate and uniform bottoms and approved shoes must be worn. Wearable accessories are allowed but should be taken off in the classroom if it's distracting.
These dress up days are meant to build school spirit and are a privilege that can be taken away if we do not follow the guidelines. There were some issues last week with trying to wear "fun" pants over uniform bottoms-- this is not allowed

Let’s pack the stands this Friday at Beau Chene and show our Mighty Wolves the support they deserve.

Our senior volleyball girls surprised several staff members with team shirts as a thank-you for always supporting them and their team. The gesture meant so much to our staff and shows the strong bond between our Wolves, on and off the court. šŸ’œšŸŗšŸ’›

All RHS 9th and 10th grade students will be taking the preACT next week. Check out this informational flyer to get a better understanding of why this is a beneficial experience for our students!

-After testing, we will receive each student's testing booklet, giving student-specific insight on what areas are strengths and weaknesses for each person.
-Using this feedback, we will better be able to help prepare them for their actual ACT Testing.
-More exposure to ACT-style testing leads to increased scores, leading to more $ for college, university, trade school programs, etc.
-PreACT testing will provide you with an estimated ACT Score prediction as well as a WorkKeys score prediction so this is NOT just for students planning to go to college.

All students are encouraged to be present to avoid make-up testing.

Last week in Mrs. LeJeune-Gotte’s English III Honors classes, students were recalling their writing skills to practice basic grammar through short narratives or opinion pieces. This sparked a debate on whether or not you can taste the difference between chocolate cake and red velvet cake. To help provide supporting evidence for their arguments, today our Assistant Principal Mrs. Fontenot surprised 3rd hour with a blind taste test - courtesy of Mrs. Huynh and her Food & Nutrition and Prostart students. Blind taste testing revealed you CAN in fact taste the difference. What a great way to end this week bridging English, cooking, and Science!
