Mrs. Monique Romero and her art students also revived the Art Show this year with great success! Our students were able to display so many great pieces showing the diversity of their interests and talents through various art techniques. This morning, our students, parents, and members of our community were able to tour our 2025 Senior Fair. Our students did an amazing job on their projects related to their career and community service interests . We are so proud of our Seniors and our Senior English Teachers, Ms. Elise Boutin and Mrs. Whitley Breaux for their hard work this year!

This week representatives from LSUE came to congratulate our students for their hard work at the District Literary Rally. Those who placed were rewarded with certificates and t-shirts. Congratulations to Layton Price, Anna Boitnott, Brycen Comeaux, Lily Mire, Dominic Colonna, Izzabelle Chou, and Ryan Price.💜💛

We are getting ready for our end of the year celebrations! On Thursday, May 8th, the Seniors' Last Day, we will have Field Day! Students with NO referrals will receive a FREE ticket. All other students are able to purchase a ticket for $3.00.

Mr. Fontenot spends countless hours taking care of all things Rayne High! We appreciate all he does for the students, faculty and Rayne High School community!

This past Monday, members of our band, cheerleading squad, and various students visited South Rayne Elementary to help put on a Testing Pep-Rally filled with awesome games and cheers. The music, fun dances and speeches were able to motivate the students to do their best before LEAP testing starts. 🐺💜💛

Our Alumni Ava Thibodaux came to speak to some of our seniors about the unique opportunity to work at Atchafalaya Swamp Base. They got to hear about the awesome program that works right here in our Louisiana Swamps. They also got to meet some Swamp Friends, Pierre and T-Boy. 🐊

Some of our seniors in Biology II headed to Lake Charles, La on Friday to visit McNeese State University’s Biology department. Students were able to participate in a DNA Extraction lab with Dr. Connie Kersten, a long-time favorite professor at McNeese. Following the lab, Mrs. Ancelet and her students headed over to Bayou Escape Rooms. #mcneese #sciencelabs #bayouescaperooms

On Tuesday, 4/8/25, our Senior Baseball players were honored for Senior Night! Angel R., Cooper L., Destin G., Kainon S., Mark F., and Rylan F. Congratulations to the Wolves for winning over Loreauville 10-1. The Wolves head to LCA on Monday, 4/14 for their last regular season game before playoffs! 💜🐺⚾

Congratulations to our Senior Lady Wolves who were honored on Senior Night this past Wednesday, 4/9/25: Kamryn T., Zoey T., Raleigh D., Hayden C., Ja'Miyah W., Amylah G., Tatum H., and Avani M. The Lady Wolves claimed victory over ARCA with a final score of 17-7. They head to Mamou on Monday, 4/14/25 for their last regular game of the season before starting their playoff run. 💜🐺🥎
