The Media Center Production Room is open to ALL teachers, administrators and staff employed by the Acadia Parish School System. Students 13 years old and older may also utilize the Production Room, but must be accompanied by a supervising teacher or staff member. All children should be supervised at all times. Non-staff adults, such as parents, club sponsors, etc., are welcome to use the production room to work on items for school or school-sponsored events.  Before beginning, please speak with personnel to show you around and get you familiar with the regulations of the room.

Media Center Hours

The Media Center is open 12 months during the year, including summers. For holidays, the Media Center follows the same schedule as the School Board Office.

7:30 am - 4:30 pm
MONDAY closed

*Please refer to APSB Calendar for instructional days and working days that are required on Mondays.

  • These services are self-service.  All products must be used in production room. Please fill out a production sheet before you leave.

  • PAID Services and Products

    These services are technician services and require a PRINTING REQUEST or an INVOICE for billing.  We may require you to leave the materials to be done in the order it is received.  You can email or call for pricing. Listed prices subject to change without notice.

    How to order from the Media Center Print Shop

    • Finishing: Binding, Cutting, Stapling, Saddle Stitching, 3-hole Punching, Folding and Perforating.

      • Binding: Comb or Coil - we often get asked to finish books with coil binding, but is that really what you want or the best choice?  Read Comb vs. Coil to determine what you need.

      • Folding: We are only capable of folding 20# and 24# paper stock, one sheet at a time, in letter, legal or ledger sizes. We can fold 2, 3 or 4 horizontal lines.

      • Perforating: We are only capable of perforating 20# and 24# paper stock, one sheet at a time. We can perforate 1 vertical line.

        • $0.05 per side - plain paper

        • $0.10 per side - cardstock

      • Color copies
