The second annual Acadia Parish Summer Learning Program has concluded. Students attending Acadia Parish Schools during the 2021-2022 school year and in grades Pre-K - 8th grade were invited to participate in this unique enrichment program. 

This year's theme was “It’s a Small World” and enrichment time was focused on the cultural characteristics of the seven continents. In addition to English Language Arts and Math lessons, aimed at preparing students for successful entry to the 2022-2023 school year, students also had the opportunity to experience many STEM activities. Additionally, students participated in social emotional lessons. Acadia Parish 4-H Agents were invited to present activities and Wildlife and Fisheries performed a boating demonstration. 

This year the program ran from June 6th to July 1st and included the following sites:

  • North Crowley Elementary
  • South Rayne Elementary
  • Church Point Elementary
  • Iota Elementary
  • Estherwood Elementary
