kirsch scholarship

The Kirsch family started the Carson Nicholas Kirsch Memorial Fund to be able to award scholarships to students who plan on attending trade school.  Carson worked extremely hard for everything he got, and we want to honor students like him who have a great work ethic and a dream to achieve certification in a trade.

The family couldn't be happier than to award Carson’s friend Jordan Broussard the very first Carson Nicholas Kirsch Memorial Scholarship. Jordan and Carson did the welding program at Iota High together during the school day, after school 2 evenings a week, and even drove to Lake Charles after school to do the welding program at ABC Pelican. We know how hard those boys worked, and we are honored to give this scholarship to someone as deserving as Jordan to further his welding education at ABC Pelican.

To help fund this scholarship, we have designed the CNK apparel line which has several styles of caps, short and long sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, ladies styles, and even youth sizes. They come in a variety of colors, including Iota High maroon. Carson was the kindest person around, and his legacy is kindness, therefore every item spreads that message. A portion of every sale will go directly to the Carson Nicholas Kirsch Memorial Fund.
